We recommend one bar per day. Each Ka’Chava bar contains a relatively high fiber content of 13 g, or about 46% of your daily value. While this is great for keeping you full and supporting overall health—particularly gut health—it can be an adjustment for your digestive system. People tend to tolerate one bar per day pretty well, but if your digestive system is not accustomed to high fiber levels, simply scale back and work your way up.

Peanut Butter Ka’Chava bars contain just 3 grams of net carbs and Chocolate Ka’Chava bars contain 6 grams of net carbs. Net carbs = total carbohydrates - total dietary fiber.
Many Keto dieters calculate their carbohydrate intake based on net carbs as opposed to total carbs. Fiber can be subtracted from the overall carb equation because it isn’t absorbed by the body and does not raise blood sugar.

Like most other bars, Ka’Chava bars should be stored in a cool dry place such as a kitchen cabinet or pantry. You can also store them in the refrigerator for a slightly different texture. If you prefer your bars softer and slightly chewy, store them in the pantry; if you prefer them firmer and chewier, opt for the fridge. We also recommend storing bars in the refrigerator if you live in a hot climate—this prevents them from getting too soft and changing shape.

We are proud to say we don’t use any preservatives in our bars, so you should consume them relatively quickly—within the first couple months of purchase—for optimal flavor and freshness. Officially, our bars are good for 6 months after production.
