Simply toss everything into your blender and puree until completely smooth. Whether or not you should add the maple syrup will depend on how ripe and sweet your berries are to begin with. If you're unsure, leave it out initially, taste the mixture, and see if it needs a bit of a boost. As for the optional flavoring, although it may sound strange, a dash of pepper or lemon zest goes a long way in brightening and enhancing the natural flavor of the berries. Just a little bit will go a long way! Serve immediately or chill for up to 2 hours before enjoying.
- 1 Cup Fresh Strawberries, Roughly Chopped

- 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup (Optional)
