Can you share your journey to becoming an advocate for health and wellness, and what initially inspired you to start that journey?

I fell in love with health and fitness during my sophomore year in college. I love reading and learning about all things health-related and have been living a healthy lifestyle for the past 5 years.

 

I think people overthink what it takes to live a healthy lifestyle. I hope to motivate others by helping them understand that it isn't as daunting as it may seem.

Ka’Chava tastes amazing and has phenomenal ingredients! I love it as a post workout snack, just two scoops of Ka'Chava with almond milk.

How do you stay motivated to live a healthy lifestyle?

How do you stay motivated to live a healthy lifestyle?

It’s way easier to put in the work and effort now (while I am young) than to have to put in the time and resources that it takes to be sick all the time when I am older.

What fitness or health apps are you using and why?

How do you hope to motivate others to live a healthy lifestyle?

I use MyFitnessPal to track my food intake. Tracking is a game changer for me, it makes life so much easier.

Yes! ingredients are so important. People tend to only look at macros these days but don't understand half of the words in the ingredients section. I limit my sugar intake and always stay away from artificial colors and sweeteners.

What three changes can someone make to their daily lives to improve their health?

What three changes can someone make to their daily lives to improve their health?

Track your food. Even if you don't make changes, just start tracking.

 

Move a little bit more than you did the day before. Whether it's a workout, a run, biking, or anything else, just keep moving!

 

Find friends that have health and fitness interests as well. Community makes it easier!
