Can you share your journey to becoming an advocate for health and wellness, and what initially inspired you to start that journey?

My own desire for wellness inspired me to learn about nutrition and when I discovered that most people didn’t have this knowledge I knew my mission was to share it.

 

I believe we need to re-establish a connection with nature and a connection with our bodies. Our bodies are constantly speaking their needs to us, we just have to listen to them and honor their request.

 

I hope to motivate others by showing them how simple a healthy lifestyle really is. We’ve overcomplicated things but if we look at places like the Bluezones we see that the people in those extremely healthy communities are actually living pretty simple lives and that’s what I am working towards reintegrating into modern society.

How do you stay motivated to live a healthy lifestyle?

It’s pretty simple actually, I want to feel good and I’ve discovered that certain foods assist me with this daily quest while others keep me from achieving it. The same goes for lifestyle habits such as fitness, nature bathing, and mindfulness activities.

I use Ka’Chava because it is a complete meal loaded with the nutrients my body needs to thrive, and it tastes amazing. My favorite time to enjoy Ka’Chava is post workout when I blend it with added fruit, greens, and a plant-based milk.

What are your tips for finding the time to eat healthily, even when you’re busy?

How do you hope to motivate others to live a healthy lifestyle?

Plan ahead! Prep your veggies in advance so they’re ready to go into a salad or a quick sauté at any time.

What three changes can someone make to their daily lives to improve their health?

I’d suggest adopting a whole food plant-based diet, spending time in nature daily (even 20 minutes a day will do wonders), and move your body each day.
