Can you share your journey to becoming an advocate for health and wellness, and what initially inspired you to start that journey?

I grew up in the deep-fried South. Though always active, I never really gave a lot of attention to what I ate or my health in general. In my early 20’s I started educating myself on nutrition and maintaining a regular program of exercise. I gradually eliminated unhealthy foods from my diet and progressed to a mostly vegetarian lifestyle, before transitioning to a vegan diet. My passion for fitness, coupled with a vegan diet, led me to feeling the best I've ever felt!

I use Ka’Chava because I trust the product and the commitment to quality ingredients is of the utmost importance to me.

 

I lead a super busy life so having a product in my pantry like Ka’Chava that can give me so much nutrition on the go is a life saver. Plus, it’s just tasty! I use Ka’Chava post-workout, so a chocolate flavored shake that’s really good for you?! Yes, please!

 

I like it neat If I’m drinking Ka’Chava alongside a meal, I’ll make it blended with other fruit and greens if I’m drinking it as a complete meal, or I’ll mix it in waffles, pancakes, or banana bread when baking.

I’m motivated by the desire to stay healthy and strong for myself and the ones I love. I’m motivated by my own progress. I’m motivated to stay energized and active for my busy routine.

I hope my social media presence provides an example that motivates others to take an interest in their health by adopting a plant-based lifestyle and staying active physically. If I can do it, so can you!

Are you a label reader?

Yes, I am a label reader! I prefer products without labels (a.k.a whole plant foods), but if I choose a packaged product I’m very keen on what the ingredients are and the nutritional information. When I’m reading the label I don’t want to find any animal products, artificial flavors, preservatives, processed oils, or chemicals.

Eat whole plant foods. Drink water. Stay active.
